How to fix a Cloud connection issue on Android?

If your connection status shows a red cross in between the mobile device and the cloud as illustrated below, it means that your CardioMood app is disconnected from the cloud.

There are many possible causes for a disconnection.

To reconnect, please follow these instructions step by step until your connection is fixed.

  • Enable Wi-Fi

    Please check that Wi-Fi is turned on on your mobile device settings. It not, please enable it. Then check that your Internet connection is up and active.

  • Kill and restart the app

    If the connection status is still broken, then try to follow these steps.

  1. Force kill the CardioMood app:
    a. Hold your finger on the CardioMood app icon until the contextual menu appears.
    b. Then select App info.
    c. Click on Force stop at the bottom of the page.
    d. Confirm your choice to stop the app.
  2. Go to your phone settings, turn your mobile’s Airplane mode off, then turn it on again.
  3. Reopen the CardioMood app.

  • Restart your mobile device

    Your connection is still not fixed? Please shut down your mobile device. It is important to not select the restart option but completely shut it down. Then, restart your mobile device and open the CardioMood app again.
