CardioMood Metrics

CardioMood metrics are measurements to evaluate and track various aspects of physical fitness and overall health. These metrics provide quantitative data that help individuals assess their progress, set goals, and make informed decisions regarding their exercise and training routines. CardioMood metrics can be used by ciaches to monitor performance, improve training programs, and identify potential health risks of their clients.

Health Tracker Metrics

CardioMood makes use of Philips Biosening (by PPG) platform to help people to track their heart rate, calorie expenditure, and other health metrics such as step counts in real time. CardioMood is accurate, reliable, and easy to use. It is the perfect tool to help you increase your motivation and reach new fitness goals.

Track Activity

DISTANCE Being able to see how far your daily activity distance is helps you better achieve and plan your goals.

CALORIES Understand the link between your activity and how many calories you’ve burned off by keeping active.

Activity Trends

View your activity trends for your steps, distance and calories across time metrics and see your average steps per day.

Actionable Insights

CardioMood uses sensors to track your heart rate and activity level. The app then provides feedback on your performance and allows you to set goals and track progress. CardioMood is an essential tool for anyone who wants to improve their cardiovascular health. The app is easy to use and provides accurate data that can be used to you improve and hit your goals.

Heart Rate Zones

By breaking down your activity into heart rate zones we are able to see how much of your day is spent at rest, burning fat or undertaking endurance, performance or maximum exercise.

VO2Max & Cardio Fitness Index

CardioMood calculates your VO2Max and Cardio Fitness Index each time you walk at a pace greater than 3km/h or run at a pace greater than 6km/h, for more than 60 minutes. Both of these metrics are of interest to athletes, but they have also been shown to be strongly associated with longentity. See Association of Cardiorespiratory Fitness With Long-term Mortality Among Adults Undergoing Exercise Treadmill Testing for more information.

Sleep Stage Tracking

Sleep is fundamental to your health and well-being. With CardioMood, you can track sleep stages, duration, and the quality of your nightly rest. Sleep allows your brain to consolidate memories and remove toxins from the body while regulating metabolism and protecting your immune system. It’s no exaggeration to say that sleep is the most important pillar of overall health.

Sleep Need

CardioMood guides you on the best time to go to sleep based on your chosen wake up time. You can adjust the required sleep goal based on the expected demands for the next day or if you feel you need to catch up on sleep debt. From a circadian biology perspective, your day begins when you go to sleep each evening. Sleep allows the human body to recover from the physical and mental demands of the day. So do not guess how much time you sleep, measure it with CardioMood.

Readiness Score

CardioMood collects data throughout the night that is used to calculate your Readiness Score. Your Resting Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability (provide a link to deeper content, studies) are the primary metrics used to create this score. Deviations in your temperature will come into play if the variation is significant. You can view the trends for this score on the CardioMood mobile app. Also, your Readiness Score is personal to you. We compare your short term trends against your long term baseline. This method is based on years of sports research and is well established in the health and wellness community.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

At the core of CardioMood is a modern heart rate variability methodology, actively used throughout the world. With the help of advanced algorithms developed by us, we give you the most customised and personalised advice to ensure you’re ready for your next challenge.

Lifestyle Modifications

The analysis of outcome measures can provide valuable insights into overall health and well-being. Coaches can make informed decisions about their clients lifestyle choices, such as incorporating healthier dietary habits, managing work-life balance, and prioritizing self-care practices.

Outcome measures offer coaches the ability to set specific health and fitness goals and track their clients progress over time. Regularly monitoring and reassessing these goals can help clients stay motivated and make necessary adjustments to their clients routines as they work towards achieving their clients objectives.
